3 Beauty Tips When Working Out

Exercise is not only good for our physical health but also our skin health. When you are on the treadmill your blood flow is increasing. An increase in blood flow carries more oxygen and nutrients. This helps in nourishing our skin. Exercise also helps with acne. It controls any hormonal imbalances in the body that are causing breakouts. Here are three beauty tips that will help you get flawless skin after you hit the gym.

Your body needs to replenish the loss you burned while killing it at the gym

  1. No Makeup

Working out opens our pores and sweat acts like steam. When you steam your face, it gets all the nasty stuff deep in your skin out. Foundation will prevent all of it from happening. Depending on the type of foundation you use it can clog your pores and cause breakouts. Eye makeup will not be harmful to your skin, but when I wear it to the gym, I look like a raccoon afterward. Not cute at all! I use a makeup remover wipes and to get rid of everything. Then I wash my face with Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser. When workout I like my face to be a blank canvas.

  1. Water, Water, and More Water

Dehydration is not only bad for our bodies but also our skin. Dehydrated skin can lead to breakouts. We should be consuming up to 64 fl. oz. a day of water. Your body needs to replenish the loss you burned while killing it at the gym. 64 fl. oz. is a lot for one consume in a single sitting. Therefore, I usually drink half (32 oz.) thorough out the day before I workout. The remaining 32 oz. I drink while watching The Mindy Project at night.

  1. Hitting the Shower

Sweat from your armpits and feet produce bacteria. This type of bacteria causes an odor to form. You want to keep your workout buddy not lose them! So it is vital to take a shower at least an hour after you finished your workout to wash the bacteria away. You do not have to scrub it away, still be kind to your skin and take a warm shower. Nothing is better than completing an amazing workout and feeling clean.

Working out helps your skin and gives you a radiant afterglow. These tips will make you shine bright like a diamond.
